Link Tool
Step 01
Once your PDF Version is open
Click-and-Drag the Link Tool in the left Tool panel on to the PDF Canvas area
Step 02
A blue, Link box will appear and the Link Tool Settings screen will open
Simply complete the following fields:
2A – Link Type, select one of the following option
- URL – Add a Url link
- Page – Select a page in your issue as link destination (normally used for your Table of Contents page)
- Email Address – Add email address readers will tap on to contact you.
- Buy Issue – Select a specific issue readers will be redirected to purchase
- Download issue – Select a specific issue readers will be redirected to download
- Show all Subscription – when tapped readers will be redirected to your app Subscription section
- Buy Specific Subscription – when tapped reader will be redirected to a specific subscription option
- Return Home – redirects readers to the first page of your issue
[Used in conjunction with placeholder text added to your issue pages]
- Show Survey – redirects readers to your app Survey Funnel
[Survey Funnel is setup in the Marketing Tools section of MagCast]
Once selected, click Save Changes
2B – Add relevant Url or info. This input field will change depending on what Link Type you select above.
2C – This link field is used if the Url destination for Android users is different from iOS users. Example, download link for Android version of your app. [Optional]
2D – Tick Open in Safari, if you want your reader redirected to a Safari Browser, instead of the default In App Browser.
2E – Click Save Changes
