10-Upload And Submit App for Review

Now that the preview screenshots are uploaded and In App Purchases have been selected in App Store Connect, you are now ready to upload and submit the Publisher's app for review.

In MagCast, click on the green Download iOS button.

Note: the download can take 5-10 minutes, depending on how large the file is.

If you don’t already have Transporter (Apple's App Uploading Software) installed on your Mac, you can download the latest version here

Once Transporter is installed, open the app and login with the Team Apple ID and password.

Once logged in you should see the app loading screen (below).

NB! From the Account dropdown in the top of the screen, select the relevant Publisher's App Store Connect account.

To start the uploading process, simply drag and drop the .iPA file that you downloaded from MagCast in the loading space provided.

Once added, you will see Transporter processing the build you just added to check if it meets Apple's regulations.

If approved, you will see the next screen.

Click on blue Deliver button and the app will begin to upload to the App Store Connect account.

Once selected, your app binary will be verified, which can take a few minutes.

If the verification is successful, the upload process should begin.

This can take 15-20 minutes depending on your connection speed and binary file size.

Once the upload is complete, you will get a successful delivery notice and the upload screen will look similar to this.

Next, go back to App Store Connect > click on My Apps > select your App icon

Click on Prepare For Submission  in the left-sidebar menu.

Next, scroll down to the Build section.

A Plus "+" icon will be visible next to Build if the app build processing is done.

In the next screen, select the app binary you uploaded.

Click on Done

Scroll to the top of the Prepare For Submission page and click on Save 

Then click on Submit for Review button.

Your Apps status will change to Waiting for Review.
