04-Setting up the Provisioning Profile

Next you will set up the 3rd and final app certificate.

In the MagCast Dashboard, click on the Setup menu.

Then select Profile.

Open Apple Developer Portal in a new tab

Ensure Profiles is selected in the left-sidebar and click the plus “+” icon

In the next screen, under the Distribution section, select App Store.

Then click on Continue button in the top-right corner.

In the next screen, choose the App (Bundle) ID previously created in the Enable Push step.

Then click on Continue.

In the next screen, select the iOS Distribution Certificate

Then click on Continue.

In the next screen, paste in the Profile name provided in the Profile section of MagCast

Then click on Generate

The screen will update and give you an option to download the generated Mobile Provisioning file.

Click Download and save your .mobileprovision file to your computer.

Go back to the Profile section in Magcast (Setup menu).

Scroll down and look for Step 3: Upload your .Mobileprovision file

Click on Choose File

Select .Mobileprovision file

Click Open

Click on Upload File

TIP! Once uploaded, check your browser address bar to confirm if upload worked.

If it says (stat=ok), then your Provisioning Profile has successfully been redone!

That’s it! The Provisioning Profile is setup and valid for a year.
