Check Your Admin Access

Before you can edit a Publisher's App Store Connect account, you will need to be added as an admin.

If you find the Publisher has not added you yet, simply send them these setup steps:

Sign in your App Store Connect Account - https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/login
Go to “Users and Access"
Add App Store Connect user, by clicking the “+” icon under People section
Fill in User Information [ team@magcastapp.com ] and under Roles, select 'Admin'
Under Apps, select 'All Apps'
Click on Invite. 

NOTE: Organisation Apple Developer accounts support the Team function, which allows you to be added as an admin to a Publisher's account. If the Publisher has an Individual Apple Developer account, you will need their actual login details to login.

If you find that you are dealing with an Individual Apple Developer account, advise [Damian], so that he can speak to the Publisher about the benefits of upgrading their account to Organisation rather.

If you have to start building the app with their Individual Apple Developer account, you will need to
  • Book a Zoom call with a publisher
  • Login to their App Store Connect account with their login details from the Onboarding Form
  • When the request for the 2 Factor Authentication code appears, the Publisher will need to give you the code as quickly as possible
  • Note: the window to use the code is very tight, so it must be used almost immediately once the publisher receives it.
  • If it works, you should see the screen with the Trust browser button -- click it.
  • After this, you should be able to login with the Publisher's details without any problems.
IMPORTANT! Do not follow above steps in an Incognito Browser Page!
If you do, and you try login again in a normal browser page, your browser won't be recognised and you will have to repeat above steps.
