How To Create A Special Issue
The Special Issue type allows you to create unique issues that are pinned to the top of your App's Homescreen. If you choose to sell your Special issue it will not be included in your subscription offering and must be purchased by both subscribers and non-subscribers. You also have the option to offer Free Special issues, which will be an excellent tactic to boost your app with new readers.
Follow the steps below to get started:
Click on your issue Cover.
Select Edit Issue Settings from your issue menu.
In the next screen, scroll down to This Magazine is > tick either Paid or Free.
Scroll down to Magazine Issue Type > then tick Special.
Click Save Changes.
NOTE! All Paid issues need an In App Purchase in order to sell issues individually via the App & Play Stores.
